EmergenciesAfter careful consideration regarding the recent lift in the mask mandates in the county (and most of the state) we have changed our mask and building capacity requirements.
Masks are strongly recommended but not required.
- We will allow an unlimited number of family members into the building but we will allow only one family member into the exam rooms with the exception of euthanasia, where 2 family members will be allowed into the exam room.
- Contactless hand sanitizer dispensers are available in the lobby.
- Clients will be required to remain seated and will not be permitted to hold their pet during the exam to ensure adequate social distancing.
- Please be mindful and respectful of others and maintain adequate social distancing while in the lobby.
- If anyone in the household has been sick or has tested positive for coronavirus, the appointment must remain carside.
For those of you who would like to continue with carside doctor's appointments, we are happy to do so and can provide a virtual visit while you wait in your car. OSSVH is also still offering remote healthcare services with TeleVet. For more information on either of these services, please let us know.
We are still currently experiencing high call volumes due to our COVID-19 protocol. Due to this increase, we are asking that if you are requesting a medication refill or requesting a routine non-urgent appointment that you use our online portal to do so. This will decrease potential hold times for you and improve our customer service by leaving our phone lines open for the appointments that are here. You can create an account here, or if you don't want to do that, you can request a medication refill, or request an appointment. For medication refills please notify us at least 7 days prior to running out. It can take 48-72 hours to authorize and fill your pet's medication.
